President Trump ended his Inaugural Ball on Monday with a dance that included fist pumps and large sword.
At the end of Monday’s event at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., “YMCA” by The Village people began to play, as it has at many Trump rallies and events in recent months.
Trump began to dance on the stage as thousands clapped and held up cell phones to record the president’s performance.
He held up a large sword over his head and danced with the weapon as Vice President Vance, first lady Melania Trump and second lady Usha Vance watched on in laughter.
Trump showed a penchant for dancing along the campaign trail, with his moves inspiring some NFL players’ touchdown celebrations around the time of the November election.
Monday’s ball came at the end of a long day for the new president that included a swearing in ceremony, lunch with Congressional leaders and the signing of a flurry of executive orders on immigration, energy and other issues.
